Endeavoring to make roads safer for everyone

India accounts for 11% of the global deaths caused due to road accidents… and youngsters account for the majority of this percentage. Pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, homeless people living on the streets are also observed to be the victims of accidents caused by recklessness of someone else.

The injuries and deaths caused due to road accidents impose a severe financial burden at individual level, and the accident cost also burdens the society and nation.

Acknowledging the pressing need for action in this area, Aavas Foundation pledged to educate the society, especially the youth about road safety. The Foundation organises workshops on traffic rules, road safety and also conducts Helmet Distribution camps.
